kids vs diseases
last Wednesday, fareeha suddenly had a severe vomiting and it continues all along the night till the next day.The Doctor predicted that she was affected by norovirus or similar to diarrhea/food poisoning. she keeps vomit for 2 days and today she starts to pooshh! as if i'm not mistaken, this is the third times or may be more she got affected by all these kind of viruses, since our staying here. other viruses are rotavirus and hand, foot & mouth disease (HFMD).
from the reading, i found that:1) the viruses are transmitted by faecally contaminated food or water and by person to person contact.
2) it typically occurs in closed or semi closed communities such as kindergartens, hospital, prisons and dormitories.
3)symptoms: vomiting, diarrhea and the worst case, severe diarrhea may leading to death through dehydration.
4)usually affects infants and children except for norovirus
5)usually occurs during summer and autumn months (for HFMD only)
i wonder why this little girl is easily being affected by these viruses, as i'm fully breastfeeding
