takada kouen

This is my second masterpiece from the class, the name is takada koen. the picture was taken by hubby last year's spring in takada park.

hubby said the ground and the sky colour is much striking compared to the real one. i do feel the same, but the colour combination and decision is made by sensei. so i thought this is what he saw through his eyes, the real artist is. i just like the painting so much. what about you?

simply breath taking.. though the sky colour and the ground colours are a tad bright as pointed out.. I love the feel of it.. it makes the whole pic more cheerful..

fuji san

This is my latest project, fuji san.  Actually it is not 100% complete, but i just cant have patience to wait until it to be published here.  Because this one took me about 5 weeks time to completed, which is amongst the longest project i had so far.   To make the color of mountain and sky look like what you may see now, i myself cannot remember how many times i had layered on it.  That is what water color is, layer by layer that makes the drawing differ and lively.  My sensei told me that, it still need some touching up here and there...but then it is here to public.
