from nagaoka with love

it has been a year and now comes the time to say goodbye.  I joined the class purposely to fulfill my leisure time and now the time has become less since dada enter the primary school.  She will be at home around 3 and i want to be there to welcome her home. I gained a lots of knowledge of water color drawing from the class and surely expect to apply and continue drawing when i have time.  For me, drawing is some kind of mind therapy and i put myself into it when i draw and it really makes me feel free and light.  Actually old folks here love to attend these kind of class as a hobby and one of their way of socializing. There is variety of classes including calligraphic, dancing, language, flower arrangement, music, sewing, aerobic and knitting. my very own, humble, yet a special  project dedicated to my sweetheart. The very tough one, took almost 5 weeks to be completed, and i think the eyes is the most important part to make the subject at least similar to Nurkhaleeda.  And i know mine is far from perfect, but my heart is always blooming each time i'm working on it as if i see my own princess in front me. jishin/earthquakes updates: Alhamdulillah, kami sekeluarga selamat.  Diharap kawan-kawan lain di Jepun juga di dalam lindunganNya especially Kamalia, Ita, Umie dan Hanis, insyAllah.. 

This is my latest project, fuji san.  Actually it is not 100% complete, but i just cant have patience to wait until it to be published here.  Because this one took me about 5 weeks time to completed, which is amongst the longest project i had so far.   To make the color of mountain and sky look like what you may see now, i myself cannot remember how many times i had layered on it.  That is what water color is, layer by layer that makes the drawing differ and lively.  My sensei told me that, it still need some touching up here and there...but then it is here to public. In English the mountain is known as Mount Fuji, but Japanese speaker refer to the mountain as Fuji-San.  This is the highest mountain in Japan, at 3776.24 m.  An active stratovolcano that last erupted in 1707-08, Mount Fuji lies about 60 miles south-west of Tokyo, and can be seen from there on clear day.  Mount Fuji exceptionally symmetrical cone is a well...

lately suka sangat nak lukis gunung ganang.  kat sini gunung ganangnya sangat cantik, lebih-lebih lagi kalau ader snow kat atasnya. myoko, salah satu antara 20 bandar dalam Niigata Prefecture. gambar asal daripada calender. Semalam sensei ada cakap, dia nak mintak lukisan nih sebab nak framekan dan letak kat tepi tangga kelas lukisan tuh.  dengan senyum yang terpaksa saya menjawab ok, walaupun dalam hati menjerit tidak!...tidak!....

yang nih projek lukisan yang terbaru, toyosaka. sebenarnya tak sabar-sabar nk tunggu lukisan nih siap, dh masuk sebulan pon x siap-siap lagi. ini pun blom siap sepenuhnya, especially kat bahagian bayang-bayang tiang letrik dalam air tuh. benda paling best tentang lukisan nih ialah gunung ganang nya yang sangat cantik dan air sungainya yang jernih dan tenang. b yang kat bawah nih lukisan asal, diambil daripada calender. sebenarnya lately, sangat-sangat sibuk.  banyak sangat benda nak buat sampai tak de masa nak melukis.  from now on, focus!...focus!...focus!...

This is my second masterpiece from the class, the name is takada koen. the picture was taken by hubby last year's spring in takada park. the real picture the sketching first layer second layer and the final product: hubby said the ground and the sky colour is much striking compared to the real one. i do feel the same, but the colour combination and decision is made by sensei. so i thought this is what he saw through his eyes, the real artist is. i just like the painting so much. what about you?
