it's time to say goodbye

it has been a year and now comes the time to say goodbye.  I joined the class purposely to fulfill my leisure time and now the time has become less since dada enter the primary school.  She will be at home around 3 and i want to be there to welcome her home.

I gained a lots of knowledge of water color drawing from the class and surely expect to apply and continue drawing when i have time.  For me, drawing is some kind of mind therapy and i put myself into it when i draw and it really makes me feel free and light.  Actually old folks here love to attend these kind of class as a hobby and one of their way of socializing. There is variety of classes including calligraphic, dancing, language, flower arrangement, music, sewing, aerobic and knitting. That is why i'm the youngest in the class.

this is my very first drawing of the class and i named it otte dori after the name of the street.

that is it. now, i'm looking for another activity or new thing to try and perhaps i will found one that can suit my time soon before our leaving next year.  Any suggestion anyone?

salam kak ayu, join le aktiviti ikebana..hehe..ceee,pandai aje saya suruh orang join itu ini kan, diri sendiri duk tersadai kat rumah aje..hehe.. nak pi kelas nihongo pun hold dulu sampai si kecik nie dah dapat kaki baru le nak mula amik kelas nihongo..;-)

fuji san

This is my latest project, fuji san.  Actually it is not 100% complete, but i just cant have patience to wait until it to be published here.  Because this one took me about 5 weeks time to completed, which is amongst the longest project i had so far.   To make the color of mountain and sky look like what you may see now, i myself cannot remember how many times i had layered on it.  That is what water color is, layer by layer that makes the drawing differ and lively.  My sensei told me that, it still need some touching up here and there...but then it is here to public. In English the mountain is known as Mount Fuji, but Japanese speaker refer to the mountain as Fuji-San.  This is the highest mountain in Japan, at 3776.24 m.  An active stratovolcano that last erupted in 1707-08, Mount Fuji lies about 60 miles south-west of Tokyo, and can be seen from there on clear day.  Mount Fuji exceptionally symmetrical cone is a well...
