dada: tak la, sensei dada kata D-A-I-M-O-N

dada: tak! tak! sensei dada kata D-A-I-M-O-N
me: hehehe

actually when hubby told me that we are going abroad, i really wish that we could choose somewhere that is english-phere which is either uk or australia. my purpose is to expose the kids to the language itself, and perhaps the surrounding will help to boost their language skill as well. but some technical problem happened, and the place that been choosen is here and the above example scene is my main worries now. not only that, their malay language will soon become rojak n rosak too.

2. my nihonggo class (japanese language class)
it has been a month, and i start to feel the excitement though a bit stress n tired. as i told you guys before, i'm facing a lots of problems during our staying here since hubby n me are totally zero about the languange. and i really feel the trouble when my kids going to school and i need to communicate with the teacher. so this is my compulsory task at the moment, for the sake of us in surviving here! the course is called intensive japanese language for foreign student, so you can imagine the class acceleration.

i got at least 1 quiz a day(mostly 2 quiz per day),homework everyday, a test almost every week and need to memorize 10 words a day and 30 kanji characters a week. as simple as that. let me give you guys some basic knowledge about the nihonggo(japanese language). there are 3 kinds of letters or characters used in writing which is kanji, hiragana n katakana. all these are used together in japanese words and sentences.

kanji: although japanese and chinese are completely separate language, japanese adopted written symbols and much vocabulary from chinese. in japan, these symbols or chinese characters are called kanji. japanese people learn about 2000 kanji by the end of high school. most japanese know several thousands additional kanji as well. kanji can be very simple, with one or two strokes, or quite complicated with many strokes needed to make one character. some kanji look like pictures, or line drawings of the words they present. at the end of this course, i will be able to use about 500 kanji characters! oh my god, like i'm studying again!

hiragana and katakana: are used to represent the sounds of syllables. each is a kind of alphabet of 46 characters or sounds. hiragana is used for native japanese words, and katakana is used for words of foreign origin. in order to read or understand nihonggo, you have to know all the three characters. so,understand murid-murid??
finally, i just hope i'm tough n strong enough to complete the course which is scheduled to finish on august. to frens out there, do pray for my success ok.
