minat dengan lukisan memang dah lama, cuma dulu serba kekurangan sama ada daripada segi kewangan, pengetahuan, masa dan peluang untuk belajar dan mengasah bakat terpendam yang sedikit ini. Cari punya cari akhirnya berjumpa juga dengan satu-satunya hobi yang disukai, at least at this moment, terus jer signed up for kelas drawing. so, this is my first masterpiece, from the formal drawing class. first day datang, sensei terus bukak tingkap and asked me to draw the scenery that view through the window. day 1: the real scenery day 2: day 3: day 4(final day): Painting Description: 1) type/technique: water colors (Holbien Artists') 2) time taken: 8 hours My biggest adventures in finishing this drawing is the coldness, i have to sit by the window opened during all the painting process which the temperature is between -3 to 7 degree Celsius. so guys, how is my painting?

i go to the post-nihonggo class basically to polish my communication skills or, to get used with the japanese daily conversation. Though i have completed the intensive class and managed to get the certificate, i have to say that my communication skill is still bad if not worse, even Khaleeda can speak and understand nihonggo better than me. as expected(by me), daily conversation or bahasa pasar by Japanese has some huge different with the one that we learnt in formal class. during the class, we have some kind of discussion on particular topics and everyone will need to participate. this one volunteer, an old lady who seems had travel overseas a lots, has an ability to speak and understand English, had questioned me about Malaysia. One of them was, "is it true that it is dangerous to walk alone in Malaysia?" and it was sad when i had to say 'yes' to her. yes if you're women or kid walking alone especially at night in a quiet place. She supported her prejudice...

Selama jadi cikgu, tak pernah ada perasaan nih. Saya sebetulnya tidak tahu menahu tentang pertandingan Pidato Antarabangsa Bahasa Melayu Piala Perdana Menteri yang berlangsung baru-baru ini. Apabila saja membaca surat khabar, saya jadi terpaku melihat sambutan yang begitu menggalakkan, 56 peserta dari 51 buah negara yang kebanyakannya berasal dari Eropah, Timur Tengah dan Asia Timur. Pertandingan ini diadakan sejak 2007 dan sambutannya diberitakan semakin menggalakkan dari tahun ke tahun. Senang sangat ke nak cakap dan fasih melayu? Sedang saya terkial-kial nak mempelajari bahasa Jepun dalam masa yang sama mendalami bahasa inggeris, hati jadi terharu dan bangga bila tiba-tiba bahasa sendiri mendapat perhatian di peringkat antarabangsa. Kesungguhan pihak penganjur wajar dipuji, kerana ini secara tidak langsung mengangkat kembali martabat bahasa Melayu yang pernah menjadi lingua franca semasa zaman kegemilangan tamadun Melayu dahulu. Berpeluang untuk tinggal di sini, saya begitu teruja untuk menghantar anak-anak ke sekolah Jepun sambil melihat dan belajar selok belok sistem pendidikan awalnya. setelah genap setahun khaleeda dan fareeha ke sekolah, sesuatu yang boleh dikongsi bersama ialah pendidikan peringkat awal mereka sangat menitikberatkan aspek kesihatan (iaitu melalui aktiviti senaman dan pemakanan) dan kemahiran asas. aktiviti senaman atau pergerakan anggota tubuh badan paling banyak mengisi slot seharian mereka. seawal pagi lagi mereka ber'exercises' seperti melakukan pelbagai aktiviti gimnastik, berjoging dan melompat. lebih kurang satu jam pertama setiap hari diperuntukkan untuk aktiviti fizikal ini. kanak-kanak juga disajikan dengan menu pemakanan yang seimbang, merangkumi semua diet yang diperlukan oleh badan. Satu yang pasti berbeza, kanak-kanak diajar makan sayur-sayuran samada mentah atau direbus separuh masak, dan cikgu akan sentiasa memastikan mereka melicinkan tray masing-masing! kanak...

after a long search, i finally found the best solution to spend my so-called free time. i should express my thankful to my botang for her beneficial tips on time managing. Basically, i use the same concept like her which is by making weakly schedule. what i do is to list down the things that need to be done on that particular week. i just start using this kind of method last week, and at the end of the week i rechecked the list to make some evaluation, whether i managed to complete the to-do-list or not. it really just give me a great of satisfaction. though the listed things are just a small, unimportant matter carried out by a housewife i do feel the sense of achievement. here is my to-do-list for last week, feb 22~28 1. upload pictures (at least 3 album)- i need to transfer all of our pictures from the hard disk to the picasa web album for safety purpose and due to the lack of spaces 2. upload video (at least 1 video) - i'm always having problem to upload videos recently...
